Very nice hotel with a personal treatment very helpful staff Great breakfast . Not too far to the main attraction very good to stay it is very highly recommended if you like to enjoy rooms are very comfort and clean.

Moscow is full of characterless or dated chain hotels targeted at business clientele, so it's not easy to find an inspiring hotel for a nice weekend break. Akvarel is exactly one of these rare gems. Its location is unbeatable - just off Stoleshnikov pereulok, with hundreds of restaurants, bars, boutiques within walking distance. Guest rooms were recently refurbished and are sleek and modern, but complemented with warm colour touches - lilac, purple, copper. The staff is helpful and very efficient.

Staff, Location and comfort

Boutique hotel tucked away in a side alley off Bol'shaya Dmitrovka it is well located, Metro Okhotny Ryad is 6 minutes walk, Bolshoi 5 minutes Kremlin and Red Square 20 minute walk and two very good restaurants Sempre and Nobu just around the corner. Rooms recently renovated, smart decor, compact shower room, comfortable bed, tea making facilities, with bottled water replenished daily. Good free wi-fi. Breakfast buffet consists of hot pre cooked omelette/ sausage, or fresh fruit, nuts muesli, cereal and tasty pastries (pain au chocolate /almond croissant) or cheese, cold meats and smoked salmon, or choice of freshly cooked options and freshly squeezed orange juice, there is something for everyone. Very helpful English speaking reception staff, all make it a very good choice for a few days visit to central Moscow.
